Call for Papers: Gamification at the 56th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences

GAMEMORG (2020-2022) is a three-year project led by Simo Järvelä (Project Manager) and by Prof. Juho Hamari (PI), funded by Liikesivistysrahasto that aims at augmenting training simulations for emotional skills through gamification, affective design, and biofeedback. We look at all dimensions of emotional skills from recognizing other people’s emotional expressions to contextual awareness, and from individual emotion management to behavioral patterns. Particularly we explore the possibilities of embodied emotion control and VR as a research platform. Various forms of training simulations such as VR environments, apps and live action simulations will be studied.
