Dr. Jonna Koivisto awarded the “Technology Publisher of the Year” by Tampere University
Last week, on the 12th of September 2019, Dr. Jonna Koivisto from the GG team received the “Technology Publisher of the Year” award given out by the Industrial Research Fund at Tampere University of Technology at the Tampere University award ceremony. The annual award is given in recognition of young scholars who publish high-impact work in the fields of technology. The award recipients are decided based on publication metrics reviewed by the Tampere University Library staff.
Dr. Koivisto was given the award based on her publications being exceptionally widely cited and for having received the largest number of citations per publication in the fields of technology at Tampere University. Furthermore, many of Koivisto’s publications are openly accessible, thus promoting open publishing.
