Dr. Nannan Xi
Dr. Nannan Xi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Gamification Group and project leader of VIRTUMER and INVESTUAL. Her research focuses on game-based approaches (e.g. gamification, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, live streaming) for consumer decision making in different business domains such as retail, finance, online community. She got her Ph.D. in marketing management from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), China, and holds M.Sc. in International Business from the University of Lincoln, UK. She also had three-year consulting experience in industries. Her dissertation was awarded as the excellent Ph.D. dissertation in ZUEL in 2018. She has experience in consumer study (mainly including psychometric survey and laboratory experiment) and data analysis (quantitative and qualitative data analysis). Some of her research projects have been funded by OP Ryhmän Tutkimussäätiö, Business Finland, KAUTE-säätiö and Liikesivistysrahasto. Dr. Xi’s research has been published in a variety of prestigious journals, such as Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, International Journal of Information Management, and Industrial Management & Data Systems.
