Dr. Velvet Spors is a communication designer, creative technologist, and Assistant Professor of Human‑Centered Digital Design (TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology) at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Their work is centred around instances of technologically-mediated care, and embodied and affective computing.
Velvet works interdisciplinarily, by drawing from game studies, humanistic psychology, speculative design, feminisms, participatory design and human computer interaction.
