Dr. Lobna Hassan was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Gamification Group, Tampere University, University of Turku, and Hanken School of Economics. She received her PhD (2018) in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics and her BSc (2012) and MSc (2014) in Technology Based Management from the German University in Cairo, Egypt with high honours. Lobna additionally coordinated the Gamification Groups’ funding endeavours.
Lobna’s research interest are diverse and include gamification, systems design, motivational technology, social media, e-participation, storification and virtual reality. Her research has received funding from various organisations, notably: the Finnish Foundation for Economic Education (Liikesivistysrahasto), The Finnish Cultural Foundation and Hanken Support Foundation. Lobna’s research papers and presentations received awards for best paper and best presentation and she has authored several articles in prestigious academic journals such as User Modeling and User-Adapted Interaction, Simulation & Gaming and Information and Software Technology.
