Isabella Aura is a postdoctoral researcher at the Gamification Group where she started as a project researcher in 2019. She received her doctorate in Tampere University, Finland, in 2024, with the dissertation titled Storification in Formal Education: Experiences, behavior and 21st century skills propensity. Her research examines gamification and storification utilized in educational settings and in learning environments. Isabella holds a M.A. degree in education from University of Jyväskylä. Her master’s thesis addressed digital games in children’s social relations, which was awarded for the best thesis of universities’ category 2019 by The Finnish Society for Game Research.
