Ans Ahmad is a research assistant at the Gamification Group. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in human-technology interaction. His master’s thesis focused on examining the effects of immersive environments, such as VR, on cognitive memory performance in the context of financial data visualizations.
His current research focuses on identifying effective approaches of gamification for the mitigation of cognitive biases in decision-making. He also intends to explore the applications of gamification in financial technologies (Fintech).Aside from his academic experience, he has practical industry experience in data visualization, data analysis, design thinking, and video games. This multidisciplinary background allows him to bring a well-rounded approach to his research and contribute to diverse projects.
