Andrea Brambilla is currently a PhD student in Education in the Contemporary Society at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. He is also a teacher of Italian and Latin Literature at IIS Bellisario in Inzago (Italy), and a writer.
He has an academic background in Modern Philology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.
His research interests focus are directed on didactic innovation and gamification in secondary-school learning. His research aims to identify how do different gamification elements introduced in didactics can affect students’ experience in Italian middle school, with a particular focus on Classcraft system. At TUNI he is conducting an experiment in Ludus lab through Eagle-edu system to investigate how different gamification designs affect users’ gameful experience, performance, and imagination.
