POSTER AND DEMO TEASER SESSIONS AT EUROHAPTICS 2012
QUICK FACTS
The teaser sessions are a fast-paced overview of all the posters and demos presented during the conference
- Each teaser presentation will be up to 60 seconds long
- 1st June: deadline for submission of the teaser presentation material
MESSAGE FROM THE POSTER AND DEMO CHAIRS
During the conference, there will be four slots dedicated to presenting brief teaser information about the posters and demos that are shown in the exhibition area. These sessions will be fast-paced presentations (up to 60 seconds in length) in which authors will come on stage in rapid succession. Each teaser presentation will offer an “in a nutshell” version of the poster or demo. This is your opportunity to address the whole audience and convey your main message.
The teaser slots in the program are as follows:
- TEASER SESSION 1 --- Wednesday 13.6, 9:15-9:45
- TEASER SESSION 2 --- Wednesday 13.6, 14:30-15:00
- TEASER SESSION 3 --- Thursday 14.6, 9:00-9:30
- TEASER SESSION 4 --- Thursday 14.6, 14:30-15:00
The authors that will come on stage must gather near the stage just before their session starts. When the title of your contribution is shown, you must come on stage and give your presentation in up to 60 seconds.
Preparing Your Presentation Material
You have to adhere to the following restrictions when you prepare your presentation material. If you do not respect these restrictions, your material may not be shown (correctly or at all) on screen
- Your presentation material will be in PowerPoint format (ppt or pptx file format)
- You presentation will consist of one single PowerPoint slide
- No video material can be included
- If your slide contains animations, it must play automatically and be complete in less than 60 seconds. Bear in mind that you will not have access to the keyboard or mouse that advance the animation. Thus, once your slide is launched it must progress by itself in a timer. Please, test it well before submitting
- Embed any special fonts that you use
Submitting Your Presentation Material
You must submit your presentation slide on the 1st of June at the latest.
