Abstract
In this paper we discuss sustainable design that considers health effects as a major starting point of mobile information systems. Two applications are compared: a local one, in the mobile device installed application versus a cloud-based, totally wireless application. Accessibility issues are illustrated. The ability of the software to minimise radiation exposure is seen as a software quality factor.
