Submissions:
This year three kinds of submission are invited:
- a formal paper on a case study or of a research nature from industrial and/or academic authors
- a management summary from practitioner authors
- poster presentations and demonstrations of projects, tools, and ongoing research work.
Abstracts (of intended full papers) of no more than 1000 words are required by Friday 9th of March 2012. Reviews will be returned to the authors after 2 weeks.
Full papers, management summaries and poster descriptions are to be submitted in camera ready form for review by Friday 27th of April, 2012 in the required conference template. The authors must send them directly by e-mail to Eleni Berki (eleni.berki@cs.uta.fi), copy to Margaret.ross@solent.ac.uk, for SQM 2012 and Juri Valtanen(Juri.Valtanen@uta.fi), copy to Margaret.ross@solent.ac.uk, for INSPIRE 2012. Please put SQM or INSPIRE in the subject line of the email, and put it, and include the name of the first author in the file name
Author guidelines for paper formatting and required paper template can be found from the conferences’ website.
The abstracts and papers (max 12 pages) will be reviewed by at least three referees of the conferences’ scientific and reviewing committees. The reviews of the full papers will be returned to the authors 3-4 weeks after the papers’ submission.
For management summaries (max 6 pages) and poster descriptions (max 3 pages), three reviews will be on the basis of (i) the actual submission and (ii) a sample of the presenter’s visual material. The reviews of the management summaries and posters will be returned to the authors 3 weeks after the submission.For the Poster, an A4 draft version of the poster and a 3 page poster description, in camera ready form, is required for 27th April. The final poster should be A1 or A2 in size. The poster description might be included in the proceedings.
Accepted papers and management summaries will be included in the conferences’ proceedings that will be published by the School of Information Sciences of the University of Tampere and the BCS and will be available to the delegates at the conferences.
Copyright of accepted papers will remain with the authors. Best papers will be given awards and will be further reviewed and submitted for possible publication in the following journals:
