22nd ECMI Conference on Industrial and Applied Mathematics
From the ECMI 2023 organizing committee
We are proud to announce that the 22nd ECMI Conference on Industrial and Applied Mathematics will be held 26-30 June 2023 fully on-site at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland). Like for the last 40 years, it will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas at the frontier of contemporary mathematical modelling and its industrial applications.
The conference events will include Alan Tayler Memorial Lecture, minisymposia, contributed talks, and plenary lectures given by Ruth Baker, Dirk Hartmann, Uwe Iben, Ron Kenett, Irena Lasiecka, Henrik Madsen, Mathilde Mougeot, Claudia Schillings and Rafał Weron. The Anile-ECMI Prize for Mathematics in Industry and Hansjörg Wacker Memorial Prize will be given at the Award Ceremony after the opening of the conference. On Thursday, 28 June, we are planning Industry Day, during which industry representatives will talk about how they apply modern mathematical tools in their companies. The conference proceedings Progress in Industrial Mathematics at ECMI 2023 will be published by Springer.
The deadline for minisymposia proposals is 20th March 2023 and the early bird registration ends on 14th April 2023. For more details, please go to the webpage http://ecmi2023.org/.
We hope to see you in Wrocław!
