20th ECMI Modelling week, 14.-24.8.2006, Copenhagen, Denmark
The objective of this intensive workshop is to teach students mathematical modelling of technical systems and subjects within economics. The training will be conducted as team based project work on specific problems comming from industry and commerce. The project work shall mimic the problem solving approach used in industry and commercial business with emphasis on mathematical modelling as a tool for innovations leading to improved products, improved manufacturing procedures and improved business approaches. Collaboration and communication skills will be trained.
