The Story of Lizzard Productions 🦎🎮
On December 11th, we were given a school assignment: to come up with a game idea that would teach children traffic rules in a fun and engaging way.
We started brainstorming—thinking about what kind of game would be exciting for kids, what they would actually do in the game, and how learning could be part of the fun. After lots of crazy (and some not-so-crazy) ideas, one concept stood out…
And that’s how Nostalgy School Run was born! A retro-style runner game where kids race through busy streets, dodging cars, jumping over potholes, and learning traffic safety rules as they go—without even realizing they’re learning!
Lizzard Production may have started as a school project, but for us it turned into something more: a creative journey, a chance to build something from scratch, and maybe even the beginning of something awesome. 🚀🎮
Our project has been developed in collaboration with the YHTÄ project. This partnership allows us to leverage the data and insights provided by the YHTÄ initiative to create innovative solutions and applications that benefit the city and its residents.
