TAMK University of Applied Sciences is committed to making Valvomo portal accessible in accordance with Act on the provision of digital services 306/2019.

This portal is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) A & AA standards, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

Opening the links

Valvomo’s reports always open from the tile links to a new browser tab, but this is not mentioned in connection with the link, but in the text above.

Keyboard Cursor

Keyboard cursor is not visible while moving between tile links, thus it cannot be seen which of the tiles is active.

The portal contains files that do not meet accessibility requirements

Currently, all information sources and reports behind Valvomo’s links do not meet accessibility requirements. For example, a PDF form or a pdf file as a data source cannot be accessed with a screen reader. Reports and files may contain images, icons, and graphs that lack text equivalents.

In the new contents, alt texts are used with images, tables and objects from other data sources. Also, the requirements for accessible colors are taken into account.
