In Biowaste Champion you play as a food waste consultant who goes around the city teaching households how to manage their food resources!

The Origin

In the year 2020 four students of the Business Information Systems in Tampere University of Applied Sciences ended up together in a 4 month mobile game project. Their task was to create a mobile game themed around food waste and nutrient cycles, and ways that they are reduced.

The team had some good ideas for a game but the most educationally valuable idea ended up being a collectible card game. It was this idea that they started to work on with a clear vision as well as talented programming- and graphical skills.
