On these pages you will find guidance material for families expecting a baby and families with children under school age, as well as for self-study by families. In producing the material, attention has been paid to the use of plain Finnish and some of the material has been translated into English, Somali, Arabic and Persian. The content of the portal has been produced with the needs of families with immigrant backgrounds in mind, but is suitable for use by all families with children. In addition, the portal contains tools and training material intended for professionals. The material is suitable for all professionals who encounter families with children and third sector operators.

In the Family Life section, you will find instructions related to the everyday life with a baby, the everyday life of a family of preschool aged children, as well as parenting and relationships. Please also see the things to do for children section, where you will find material related to multiculturalism for the joy of children. In the health and well-being section, you will find information related to oral health,  and, for example, vaccinations. In the Services for families with children section, you will find information on, for example, early childhood education and social services for families with children.
