🤝 Stakeholders 🤝

The School of Frog game project is carried out in collaboration between the information and communication technology students at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and the City of Tampere’s “Yhtä – A Smart City Together” initiative. The project is part of the spring 2025 ICT project module, where students develop practical applications together with experts from business and urban development sectors.

Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK)

TAMK is one of Finland’s leading universities of applied sciences. Its degree programme in Information and Communication Technology provides students with opportunities to develop skills in software production, game development, and digital services through hands-on projects. School of Frog is one such project where students create a complete game from concept to finished product.

City of Tampere & Yhtä Initiative

The City of Tampere supports innovative solutions that promote a smart urban environment and digital accessibility. The Yhtä initiative aims to open the city’s ecosystem data in a user-friendly format for various stakeholders and developers. The School of Frog game serves as an example of how gamification can be used to combine city data and safety education.
