200g butter
0,5dl water
1dl sugar
2tsp cinnamon
1tsp cardamom
4dl oats
3dl apple juice
1kg apples
50g honey
1. Pour water and sugar into a pan. Let the sugar caramelize.
2. Add the spices, apple juice and honey into the pan. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the butter into the pan and let it melt.
4. Add the oats into the pan and stir well.
5. Peel and coarsly grate the apples.
6. Add the grated apples into the pan and mix them evenly with the oats. If the mixture feels dry, you can add more apple juice into the pan.
7. Let the crumble simmer on low heat until the apples soften. Serve the crumble with vanilla sauce, ice cream or whipped cream.
