Moodpipes is an educational puzzle game about managing your emotions, targeted at teens and young adults. As you help different characters untangle their emotional problems in the game, it also teaches the player about different ways to handle their own emotions, and that all emotions are ok to have. All this while still being a fun and challenging game.
The gameplay has you connecting pathways inside the player's brain, guiding bursts of emotions to safe outlets. The faster you make the connection, the better you score.

The customer for the project is the Empathizing way to build social inclusion project, a joint endeavour between Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and the SASKY Municipal Education and Training Consortium. The aim of this project is to support young people who are at risk of social isolation and/or school drop out due to intergenerational burden. The target demographic is young people between the ages of 15-29.
The client wants to implement a game related to the topic area that genuinely attracts the young people of the target group to play it. At the heart of the theme of this project are emotional skills and the physicality of emotions.
The project will be implemented as part of the studies of first year software engineering students at TAMK.
