Signup Rules
The following rules apply in signing up for a session:
1) For every session, signing up consists of two phases.
2) The first phase is the pre-signup which opens about a week and a half before the actual session. In Nimenhuuto, it is of type "Muu", its name is "JONO / QUEUE" and it is set to start at 17:55.
2.1) The number of players signing up during the pre-signup phase is not limited.
2.2) You can cancel (that is, mark yourself "Out") your pre-signup as long as the actual session has not been added to the calendar. In other words, once the actual signup for the session opens, you are no longer allowed to modify your pre-signup status.
NB: Pre-signup does not guarantee a place in the session, it merely offers the first 14 players the possibility of signing up for the actual session before others (see below).
3) The second phase is the actual signup which opens on the morning on the day of the session. In Nimenhuuto, it is of type "Normaalivuoro", and it is se to start at 18:00.
3.1) The first 14 players of the pre-signup list may sign up for the actual session as soon as it is possible (in other words, as soon as the session has been added to the calendar). As for the rest of the players, the pre-signup list is no longer relevant.
3.2) Other players (than the 14 mentioned above) may sign up from 12:00 onwards, should there still be spots left. Any signups in this category made before noon are not valid and will be removed.
3.3) Maximum of 14 players may sign up for the actual session, there is no waiting list. In other words, if 14 players have already signed up, do not add your name to the list.
3.4) You may cancel your actual signup until 16:00, after which your signup is considered binding (see 4.2 below).
4) When the session commences, those 14 players who have signed up earlier the same day are expected also to show up.
4.1) If a player who has signed has not shown up by 18:10, their place may be given to someone else, unless they have notified others of their being late. This notifying takes place in Nimenhuuto, either by sending a general message in the context of the session in question, or by commenting their "In" status.
4.2) If a player who has signed up fails to show up, they will automatically be banned from the session for the next two weeks.
5) Breaking the signup rules may lead to a temporary ban from the session, and repeated breaking may lead to the removal from the group's Nimenhuuto membership.
