WORKSHOP ON NONPARAMETRICAL STATISTICAL METHODS
University of Tampere, June 8-10, 2005
"Workshop on Nonparametrical
Statistical Methods" Nonp2005 is a
satellite meeting to the ICORS2005
congress organised in Jyväskylä on June 12 to
17, 2005. Similar workhops on nonparametrics have also been organised
twice in Bern, Switzerland.
The program will consist of 20 invited lectures as well as of
scientific discussions; Other participants are typically academic
researchers and teachers. The workshop will be very useful to doctoral
students in Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science providing a
nice and up-to-date review on the latest developments on modern
nonparametric data analysis. Workshop is a part of the
activities of research project "Multivariate robust and
nonparametric methods" (www.maths.jyu.fi/~ojahannu/research.html)
supported by Academy of Finland.

interested in giving a short talk (about 15 min)
please email to nonp2005@uta.fi as soon as possible. This gives you a
possibility to get comments from top scientists in the area!
