Farm Knight is a 2D side-scrolling platformer game which teaches about nutrient recycling and the three main phases of farming: sowing, growth and harvest. Take care of your farm, recycle nutrients and harvest your crops! Each phase of the farming process is divided into a playable level with its own unique objective and story, with an educational aspect tied into it. In order to achieve the objective, you have to maneuver around the levels while destroying or avoiding enemies. This game was created by the first year Business Information Systems students of Tampere University of Applied Sciences as a part of the Oras project “Learn about nutrients” aiming to raise awareness of primary production and nutrients.
