The downloadable MATLAB-file contains the following variables.

Variable Description
Measurements 10×1 cell array of matrices. Each cell array elements contains the measurements for a single sample. For the matrices, the first column contains the measurement angle, while the remaining 8 columns contain the measured intensities corresponding to the angle. One column for each of the 8 laser wavelengths.
DataNames Descriptive names for the 10 leaf and needle samples.
WaveLengths Wavelengths for the measurements. 3 different sets (rows) were used, with minor differences.
WaveIndex Vector of indices for the WaveLengths matrix, describing which row of wavelength was used for which sample.
KD Lambertian-Beckmann fitting results. KD(i,j) is the fraction of the diffuse component (kd) for the sample i and wavelength j.
M Lambertian-Beckmann fitting results. M(i,j) is the surface roughness parameter (m) for the sample i and wavelength j.
FourierCoeffs Parameters for the second-order Fourier series fitting. FourierCoeffs(i,j,:) contains the parameters for the Fourier series fitted to sample i and wavelength j. In order the parameters are a0, a1, b1, a2, b2, w as returned by the fit-function of MATLAB.
