The study explores how walking in a natural environment together with a robot companion may influence people\u2019s experiences and feelings of connectedness to nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>What will you do?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You will be asked to take a walk in a forested area near Hervantajarvi (Map pinpoint link to parking), with a robot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the walk, you will experience different engagement and authoritative behavior from the robot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After each walk, you will complete short questionnaires about your experiences and feelings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, you will attend a semi-structured interview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole session will take about <strong>60 minutes<\/strong>, including briefing and debriefing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Who can participate?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for participants who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Between <strong>18 and 65 years old<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable walking outdoors on uneven ground for about 20\u201330 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in English (for instructions and questionnaires)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No prior experience with robots is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Location<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The study will take place in the Hervantajarvi forest area <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/YSgcXcasft1C6AX3A\">Uimarannan pys\u00e4k\u00f6intialue<\/a>, easily reachable from anywhere in Tampere via Tram.
