Dr. Marc Riar<\/strong> is an Assistant Professor in Management of Information Systems at I\u00c9SEG School of Management in Paris, and an Associated Researcher at Gamification Group, as well as the Friedrich-Alexander University, and the Lille Economi\u00e9 Management (LEM) research laboratory.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He obtained his PhD from the Technical University of Berlin and was a Visiting Researcher at the Baskin School of Engineering at University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). His research centers on human-computer interaction (HCI) with an emphasis on user experience and cooperation in digital space, gamification, extended reality (XR), and metaverse. He holds a M.Sc. in Business Informatics from the University of Mannheim and a B.Sc. in Information Systems Management from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n
