Yuxi Chen<\/strong> is a Doctoral Researcher in the Gameful Future Lab, Gamification Group at Tampere University. She holds an MFA in Design and a BFA in Product Design. Her practice explores the entanglements of design, HCI, biomaterials, and playful experience. Her current research investigates how designing with biomaterials can mediate interspecies interplay, fostering curiosity, reflection, and deeper ecological awareness through embodiment and play. Her work is somewhere between a forest hike and a lab experiment\u2014tangled in wood, seeds, dandelions, cellulose, textiles, sensor wires, and the occasional philosophical question about potatoes.
