Work It Out!

Work It Out! is a mobile game developed by Team C, the goal of which is to introduce the player to the diversity of working life. The game offers the player an interesting story, the course of which the player can influence with their choices.

The game also balances three meters that reflect the happiness of the workplace, the financial situation of the project, and the energy levels of the work team. The player's task is to get through various workplace situations as successfully as possible, without letting any of the meters go to zero.

Game runs on Android phones.

TYKKY

The main goals of the TYKKY project are the development of operational models for customer-oriented workplace guidance, supporting students in learning in working life, utilizing feedback, as well as strengthening working life skills and improving the value of learning in the workplace.

The competence objectives of the degree part of functioning in working life include e.g. finding out the situation of the labor market in the field and the need for skills, concluding an employment contract with the employer, and acting as part of the work community.

The team behind Work It Out! consists of four members, and is called Pla-C-bo. It was founded in January 2023, and has worked hard ever since to finish the game, and make it as good as possible. Get to know the team better down below:

Leevi's areas of responsibility include customer contacts and sound design. In addition, he has helped with the game graphics, and designed the game's logo.

As one of the two programmers, Sumu's main task is the structure and basic functionality of the game. In addition to this, they are responsible for project management, organizing the project, and making the website.

As one of the two programmers, Patrick is responsible for the game feel and the menus. He also does sound effects.

Anni is the project's artist and the AD. She has worked on the game graphics, as well as website graphics, and has been helping with designing the website.
